As part of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, it’s stipulated that arrangements should be made for the recording, handling, safe keeping, safe administration and disposal of medicines used in the personal care of clients. Our course is designed specifically to give relevant staff further knowledge to ensure they safely handle medications within the workplace.
This course is covered during a half day workshop session consisting of group activity work, theoretical work and personal reflection. All participants will receive a handout with information pertinent to the safe handling of medication.
