This course is designed for health and social care staff who look after the elderly in various care settings who are a particularly vulnerable group, often suffering with age associated illnesses and poor mobility. All of which vastly increase their risk of developing pressure ulcers.

This course is covered during a half day workshop session consisting of group activity work, theoretical work, DVD and personal reflection. All participants will receive a handout with information regarding the prevention of pressure ulcers.
On completing training successfully, learners will be issued with a certificate.
